Capabilities

This Acrylic strip heater is capable of heating up to 210mm wide in 5mm thick thermoplastic, that’s A4 portrait /A5 landscape.

This is a compact but impressive line bender made from a single sheet of 3mm recycled ABS.

Measuring just 250mm W x 260mm L x 65mm H and 650gms.

A perfect system for Point of sale, displays, model / jewellery making and educational use.

Hobby 250mm Bending Jig

An optional aluminium cooling and bending jig with fixed angles of 90°,45° & 135° is also available separately or within the complete system including timer and a 6 piece clamp set.

How it Works

The advanced electronic power supply delivers an ultra low voltage to a fine Nichrome element, which is positioned in close proximity to the thermoplastic sheet. This raises the core temperature of the sheet to the required softening point where it can be bent to any angle. Place the sheet in the cooling jig and clamp in place to cool, Simple!
